Dash Platformer

A short and simple project for class. There were a number of random things we had to add for the assignment, so some things are just thrown into the level where they don't make any sense (like the pointless green cubes...). One requirement was to add a double jump. I turned the double jump into a dash because I thought that would be more interesting and because I'm a recovering Celeste addict (awesome platformer game with an awesome dash mechanic). The whole game probably isn't long enough to justify the time it takes to download and run, unless you like 3D platformers a lot. Still, it was an important step on my path of learning Unreal Engine. I miss C#...

Running an Unreal Engine Game

If you want to play it yourself, you'll have to download the zip, extract, and run the executable. I recommend that you leave everything inside the unzipped folder; the executable and the other files have to be in the same place. Because this game is made with Unreal Engine, it probably won't run well on most computers. To remedy this, I recommend that you adjust the graphics quality by pressing 1...4 after the game loads, unless you have a decently powerful computer.
